Tuna pate’ and hot fritters

This is my family’s favorite recipe. We are always in the mood for this fantastic delicacy.

My mother is an excellent cook. I learned so much from her. I am so proud and grateful. Children enjoy grandma’s cooking. And mine is never nice enough, juicy, crunchy… like my mother’s. Years of experience and routine are at stake.
I hope that one day all of mine will be perfect, just like my mother’s.

Whenever we mention hot fritters, tuna pate is required.

Quick breakfast or dinner, whatever suits you…
I usually make the pate first, so that it is ready for the fritters. Children can’t wait for them…The whole house smells wonderful. You know you’re in for something delicious, something homemade, something you can never resist.

Preparation:

Pour yeast into a bowl of lukewarm water and add a teaspoon of sugar on top. We will wait for it to grow.In the meantime we will make the pate.

And now let’s move on to the fritters… When the yeast has risen, knead the dough with lightly salted flour. Then. we will leave the dough in a warm place, covered, to double in size.

When the dough has doubled in size. knead it well, roll it out with a rolling pin and cut it into parts. Cut each part in the middle. It is desirable to cover them with a cloth and let them rest a little longer.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry them. One side, the other side and until you blink, the fritters are ready.
